According to a representative survey conducted by the opinion research institute Civey on behalf of eco – Association of the Internet Industry, every fourth person (26.4 percent) has personally registered a domain name (e.g., example.de) on the Internet.

With the AI Act, the EU wants to create the world’s first comprehensive legal framework for the regulation of AI systems. The Commission is following a risk-based approach in its draft published in 2021.
