eco Position Paper on the Artificial Intelligence Act

With the AI Act, the EU wants to create the world’s first comprehensive legal framework for the regulation of AI systems. The Commission is following a risk-based approach in its draft published in 2021. This means that the requirements for AI systems should be proportionate to the risk in the respective areas of application.

The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy launched its call for expressions of interest for this summer’s European Twinning process. Interested partners with a permanent establishment or branch in Germany can apply until 21 July.
