One in four German companies had a serious security incident last year, with 43 percent solving the problem internally.  But in light of growing threats, too few companies are focusing on employee sensitization and emergency planning.

In two roundtable dialogues, the eco Association and the US-based i2Coalition brought together representatives of the Internet industry from both sides of the Atlantic to discuss one of the most important legal grounds for the transatlantic transfer of data: the EU-US Privacy Shield. A third roundtable is due to take place shortly in Washington.
