Gaia-X: Successful at the Hannover Messe 2022

Gaia-X had an exhibition space from 30 May 30 to 2 June 2022 at Hannover Messe, the world’s largest industrial trade fair, which attracted more than 75,000 visitors with 2,500 exhibits and over 8,000 products and solutions. During the fair, GXFS presented a first portal preview with Self Sovereign Identity (SSI) login, based on wallet technology.

Digital Policy Update: eco Evaluates Drafts for Digital and Gigabit Strategy and DSA

Ahead of the parliamentary summer recess, drafts of several network policy strategy papers became public last week. These include the long-awaited gigabit strategy from the German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV), which is expected to be approved by the cabinet next Wednesday, as well as the draft of a new digital strategy, which is expected at the cabinet meeting on 30 or 31 August.
