.eu: The European Commission celebrated the 20th anniversary of the .eu top-level domain during this year’s European Internet Governance Dialogue.

MSS: The European Commission has adopted a proposal for the selection of mobile satellite services (MSS) providers.

DSA: The European Commission has published draft guidelines on trusted flaggers. Feedback can be submitted as part of targeted consultation until 26 June 2026.

Digital sovereignty: Politico reports on the European Commission’s “Tech Sovereignty package”, which is due to be published on 3 June 2026.

AI: Dan Jørgensen, Commissioner for Energy and Housing, said in an interview with Politico that it is firmly expected that data centres will support the Green Deal in Europe and transition towards more clean energy, both nuclear and renewables.
