The Names & Numbers Forum of the eco Association brings together more than 140 companies from the global domain industry. The Steering Committee of the eco Competence Group is now pleased to welcome three new members.
The members regularly discuss current topics that are important for the entire domain industry. This is the third round of expansion since the committee was founded approximately six years ago. New members are:
- Regina Fuchsova, Regional Manager Central Europe, EURid
- Neal McPherson, Head of Product Management Domains, IONOS
- Richard Leaning, Director, Trust & Safety, Cloudflare
The Steering Committee consists of 16 members, equally composed of eight women and eight men. Together, they represent the worldwide domain industry. Among these are experts from the fields of country code top-level domains (ccTLDs), traditional and new generic top-level domains (legacy and new gTLDs) as well as registrars, technical service providers and consultants.
The eco Names & Numbers Forum founded the Steering Committee at the start of 2017 in order to have an even better representation of the interests of the domain industry within the eco Association. The members advise and steer the work of the Competence Group and regularly provide stimulus and feedback on the current association work. They meet in person regularly â for example, at ICANN meetings and in video calls â in order to stay in cross-border and transcontinental contact.
