The eco Association is handing over the reins for the ongoing design and implementation of the botfrei.de safety campaign to its member company eyeo GmbH. eco will continue to support the project and will remain a partner in the project’s strategic delivery.

Yesterday, with the eco://award, the eco Association honored outstanding ideas and solutions of the Internet industry in 7 categories. A special prize was awarded to Tim Cole for his life's work.

In the view of the eco Association, in order to occupy this important technological field and turn AI into a core competency of German industry, a holistic AI strategy is needed which not only depends on targeted research and development but also high-performance digital infrastructures, and supports the societal acceptance of AI technologies.
