The Future of Email is Dynamic

More than 293B emails are sent each day and are the center of many consumer and enterprise workflows. Until recently, the content within these messages was static and required users to leave the inbox to take action. With email providers like Gmail, Apple, Outlook, and Yahoo! now supporting dynamic email frameworks, the landscape has really changed. Access to dynamic emails has reached critical mass and brands are seeing conversion rates nearly double through dynamic email. Join experts from Gmail and Skipify to see how brands are eliminating the complexity of launching dynamic, shoppable emails. Jon Harmer is Product Lead for AMP for Email at Google, the protocol that provides real-time updates and interactivity into dynamic emails and is used by providers like Gmail, Yahoo! and Outlook. Ryth Martin is CEO and Founder of Skipify, an AI-Powered payments company that automates the creation of dynamic messages and extends purchasing into the inbox for the first time. Customer Expectations - Surprising Facts about the Reality...

Every e-mail is sent with a purpose. Whether an email is able to fulfill it's purpose - good or bad - in the recipient's inbox is up to all of us. We work hard to keep our customers' inboxes free of harm and make them easy and quick to manage. After all, people usually don't relish the time they spend in their inbox. So we invite you to join us in exploring what we can learn from our experiences handling millions of emails every day to meet customers' expectation. We'll also take a look at customer behavior and explore what we can all contribute to make people fall back in love with email. Dr. Conny Junghans - Expert Data-driven Products, 1&1 Mail & Media GmbH; Arne Allisat - Head of Mail Security, 1&1 Mail & Media Applications SE – WEB.DE/GMX

ESPs vs Brands: who delivers?

The relationship between a brand and an ESP is vitally important for the success of both, and misalignment over who is responsible for delivery and inbox placement is one of the biggest causes of tension and relationship breakdown. In this session, Alice Cornell and Tamara Bond draw a line in the sand regarding these responsibilities. They will discuss their disaster stories when expectations don’t meet reality, and highlight the successes obtainable by achieving a positive symbiosis between two teams who are ultimately on the same side. Tamara Bond - dotdigital, Delivery Operations Manager; Alice Cornell - Change.org, Director of Email Deliverability
