The activities of the Networks Competence Group are focused on the management, the heads of networks, IT and peering managers of global and local carriers, telecommunications network operators (mobile and fixed networks) and ISPs.

Manufacturers of network infrastructure components can also be involved in the technical exchange.

A cooperation with engineering and information technology departments of universities and research institutes as well as with European partner associations is aimed at.

Goals of the Networks Competence Group

• The aim is to ensure an open and confidential exchange of information between the individual network operators
• The Network Competence Group provides an exchange platform for group members on network topics
• Additional topics can be discussed together with other eco competence groups within the value chain (for example: Competence Group Law & Regulations or content-topics with traffic reference such as games, streaming etc.)
