The topics range from personnel and organizational security to the protection of IT systems (server, networks), the security of mobile communication technology (pads, smartphones, WLANs) to questions of security management and employee awareness.
The goals of the Security Competence Group are:
- drafting position papers
- addressing central IT security issues
- joint events with other competence groups or organisers, depending on the cross-disciplinary significance of the topic
- networking the competence group with activities of other associations and initiatives on IT security
The aims of the Abuse Competence Group are:
- Cross-company cooperation in the field of anti-abuse
- Optimization of internal anti-abuse processes
- exchange of experiences
- Reduction and avoidance of abuse cases in companies
The aims of the Competence Group Infrastructure Security are:
- Cross-company cooperation in the field of DDoS protection/defense
- joint events with other competence groups or organisers, depending on the cross-disciplinary significance of the topic
- networking of the competence group with activities of other associations and initiatives for DDoS defence
