This year for the 18th time, eco – Association of the Internet Industry presented the eco://awards, one of the most renowned distinctions in the Internet industry. Six visionary and innovative business models were honored by the association on 21 November as part of a festive awards ceremony. What they all have in common is that their market-ready products, services or processes use the Internet as their basis or as an intelligent extension. The Special Award for Ladies in Tech was presented to Stefanie Kemp for her outstanding commitment to female business leaders in the Internet industry.
“Technical progress requires innovative ideas – and the courage to implement them,” says Oliver Süme, Chair of the Board of the largest Internet industry association in Europe, adding: “With the eco://awards, the eco Association wishes in particular to recognize such trailblazing projects. To do this, our specialist jury spent the last few weeks intensively focused on many outstanding concepts with which companies from all over Europe applied for the award.”
