The judgment in the proceedings of Alphabet Inc., Google LLC and Google Italy Srl v AutoritĂ Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato (C-233/23) is scheduled for Tuesday, 25 February 2025. The case concerns dominant companiesâ obligations to grant access (to other companies) to platforms or digital infrastructures. Among other aspects, the Court will address the question of whether, with regard to interoperability, an active measure such as the development of software (in this case, a template for Android Auto), is required with regard to interoperability.
