Telecoms rules: The debate on the future of EU telecoms rules is causing tension between national authorities and the European Commission. While some representatives of the European Commission are in favour of market consolidation to strengthen the market, the European Regulators’ Group warns of higher prices for users. (Euractiv.com)

AI Pact: The European Commission is attempting to encourage companies to sign a voluntary AI Pact that would facilitate compliance with the upcoming AI Act. However, following the resignation of Thierry Breton, the future of the AI Pact is now in question, and some companies are hesitant to sign.(Euractiv.com)

Green investments: EU network operators are calling for the inclusion of their industry in the EU taxonomy in order to attract more investment. This is intended to help expand 5G and fibre-optic infrastructure while supporting the ecological transition. (Euractiv.com)
