Cybersecurity I: On Thursday, the European Commission launched a feedback procedure for the draft implementing act for the NIS2 Directive. The implementing act is expected to be adopted by 17 October and will lay down the technical and the methodological requirements of the cybersecurity risk-management measures for some entities in the digital infrastructures, digital providers, and ICT service management. Cybersecurity II: Sovereignty requirements may not be included in the EU Cloud Certification Scheme (EUCS), which is due to be wrapped up by the end of 2024. According to negotiating circles, the topic was removed from the agenda of the 18 June meeting of the European Cybersecurity Certification Group (ECCG). (Euractiv)
