Dispute over European AI supervision: Around two months after the adoption of the European AI Act, the Parliament and the Commission are now grappling over how to shape the supervision of the technology. MEPs are calling for more transparency from the Commission (euractiv).

German-French industrial policy: Germany and France expect more efforts from the next EU Commission to retain investments in the European economic area. Punitive tariffs also play a role in the considerations (euractiv).

European satellite communications: In order to ensure that connectivity in Europe is sovereign and functional, the Director General of the European Space Agency (ESA) has spoken out in favour of the introduction of a European digital communications network in space, comparable to the Starlink satellite constellation (politico).
