Highlights from the Past Week
CW 39
On 27 September, the EU Commission published its report on the further development of the Digital Decade. You can read how the Commission assesses the developments in the fields of action it outlined three years ago here. The reports from the individual Member States are expected in the coming weeks.
The negotiations on the Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act) are entering a decisive phase. Various representatives of interest groups, therefore, used last week to once again present their positions and demands. The European consumer association BEUC sees a need for more regulation. A group of business associations, including eco, also highlighted key aspects of the AI Act.
