DIGITAL: The EU Commission invests €140 million in the introduction of important digital technologies as part of the “Digital Europe” programme.

AI: Euractiv reports that more and more people are using AI chatbots to gain their news.

GDPR: The data protection organisation noyb criticises the planned GDPR procedural regulation.

AI: The EU Commission has launched a consultation on rules for general-purpose AI (GPAI) models.

Data protection: European Data Protection Supervisor Wojciech Wiewiórowski has published his annual report. The European Data Protection Board has also published its report for 2024.

DMA: The EU Commission has published its annual report on the implementation of the Digital Markets Act.
