Could you give us a brief introduction to your company in 2-3 sentences?
With pleasure! We are an innovative, medium-sized company that has been fully committed to employee satisfaction and work-life balance for 30 years. Health management, childcare, care counselling, seminars for managers: We support employees in all situations. This would be an opportunity for the employer to improve their employer branding and increase employee satisfaction as well. So it is a win-win situation for employees and companies.
Which digitalisation topics are particularly important to you?
Living a corporate culture that gives our team members room to react quickly and flexibly to new situations and changes and encourages them to actualize ideas independently – and more importantly: To let them make mistakes.
We need to be flexible, train teams well, and deal with various topics so that they can predict and respond to new digital trends.
That is the reason why it is also very important for us to meet everyone where they are digitally. We have the advantage that the digitalisation of our offers has always been in focus. In our day-care centres, for example, we have been using a parent app for years, through which educators inform parents about the daily routine of their children.
What are the special challenges in your industry currently and how are you working on them?
Obviously: The Covid-19 pandemic. And with it, the challenge of reacting quickly to the new needs of companies, rethinking and implementing existing products digitally, and remaining flexible in the process. Last year, we set up the first interactive, digital holiday care within a few weeks to support parents during the home office with childcare – with extra IT support for the parents. In March 2021, we launched our first digital health day with 75,000 participants from our client companies. And with the acquisition of the Mindance app, we are supplementing our personal coaching and training services with a digital everyday companion for mental health.
How do you expect your membership in the eco Association to support you in this regard?
Exciting know-how, lots of best practice sharing and new perspectives and impulses from eco members. And we look forward to being able to give impulses ourselves and share our experience from 30 years of employee support with the members of eco.
What opportunities does digitalisation offer for the future?
Faster knowledge transfer and more effective collaboration, expanding our digital business models and making ways of working more flexible – think of the Mobile Office. And with it, a social virtualisation, to which we will adapt and expand our offers. Thank you very much for the interview!
