eco has published its Annual Report 2025. The report provides a comprehensive overview of the eco Association’s work over the past year and highlights the political, economic and technological issues that have had a particular impact on the Internet industry. The focus is on key areas of action within the digital transformation: high-performance digital infrastructures, modern data centres, cloud and data services, IT security, artificial intelligence, and the regulatory framework required for a strong digital economy in Germany and Europe.
The Annual Report illustrates how eco continued to support its members in 2025 through expert knowledge, political advocacy, studies, events and practical initiatives. At the same time, it demonstrates how closely the Association’s work is linked to current debates surrounding digital sovereignty, sustainability and competitiveness.
