eco’s Managing Director Alexander Rabe is a new member of the jury for the Berlin Brandenburg Innovation Award. The jury for the Berlin Brandenburg Innovation Award is appointed by the two states of Berlin and Brandenburg. The members of the jury represent a cross-section of the innovation landscape as well as the five clusters of the capital region. They represent research and development institutions, business and trade associations, and also innovative and successful companies from the region.
The award is intended to promote and demonstrate appreciation of future and marketable developments by companies, start-ups, spin-offs, founders and networked research institutions in the capital region.
“Only those who avail of the right networks to generate the necessary visibility among the targeted stakeholders are optimally positioned to lead a market innovation to sustainable success,” says Rabe. “The  Berlin Brandenburg Innovation Award precisely guarantees such a network and visibility, and therefore offers the right platform for all companies in the region to ensure the sustainable success of their innovations.”
The Berlin Brandenburg Innovation Award was established in 1984 by the Berlin Senate Department and has since been awarded annually to up to five winners. Launched with the aim to promote economic development and networking within the Berlin-Brandenburg capital region, the award has since become an impetus and performance platform for the joint innovation strategy of the two states – innoBB 2025.
This year’s award ceremony will take place on 25 November in Berlin. Interested parties can still apply with their products, concepts or services until 4 July.
