Bundling know-how to break new ground for digitalisation and data centres: Bernd Rüffer, Head of Business Development Datacenter, introduces WISAG Holding as a new eco member.
Mr Rüffer, could you please give us a brief introduction to your company, WISAG?
WISAG provides services in the aviation, facility and industry sectors. Several tens of thousands of employees are working on this every day. We have clear ideas about our mission, our goal and the path we are taking. These convictions unite us. They are our guideposts in all situations – they make WISAG special.
Which digitalisation topics are particularly important to you?
We see digitalisation as both a mandate and a vision. We aim to support them to the best of our ability in order to achieve exceptional results.
What are the special challenges of your industry at the moment and how are you working on them?
There are many resources and specialists in the technical field for different areas, such as data centres. Their know-how has to be combined in order to work effectively on the overall solution. Even if new paths still feel bumpy, they should be followed.
How do you expect your membership in the eco Association to support you in this regard?
We would like to exchange ideas and information and cooperate in the network on the various exciting topics of digitalisation.
What opportunities does digitalisation offer us in the future?
What is particularly exciting is the simplification of processes and the resulting increase in efficiency. The last few years have shown us impressively how digitalisation can give us flexibility in terms of time and space. It is important for us to have a holistic information and action management that helps us to make knowledge and know-how accessible within the organisation in a globalised industry.
