Mr Stanek, could you please give us a brief introduction to your company, Webbar GmbH?
Webbar is an enabler for SMEs, allowing them to digitalise and succeed through customised cloud native SaaS solutions. In addition, Webbar offers a specialised CTO Fellowship programme as a consulting initiative for CTOs and Technical Managers with a special focus on traditional SMBs and startups, emphasising cloud native architecture and DevOps practices. By leveraging Webbar’s expertise in cloud native technologies and DevOps methodologies, organisations can accelerate their digital transformation, optimise their operations and drive forward innovation for sustainable growth.
Which digitalisation topics are particularly important to you?
Helping SMEs to keep up with the technological evolution and showing them which technologies, methods and cultures are needed to move forward to the next level –without being overwhelmed. We pick up SMEs where their problems are and create a bridge between the corporate level and SMEs.
What are the particular challenges in your industry at the moment and how are you working on them?
Companies are struggling to keep up – especially traditional companies that have already built up a software base over many years. The rethinking and migrations to new platforms is a huge challenge. We help to understand why culture, mindset and capability building are much more important than technologies and products for successful digitalisation and transformation.
How do you expect your membership in the eco Association to support you in this regard?
We look forward to the exchange in the area of cloud native, DevOps and modern approaches to software development – and, of course, to the exchange of experiences in the application of these aspects in the area of digital transformation.
What opportunities does digitalisation offer us in the future?
For companies in a business context, digital transformation means the opportunity to rethink business processes and thus find completely new paths that were not possible before. It is not only about efficiency through digital paths, but also about innovation and new methods. For technology companies, cloud native offers a completely new basis for the digital transformation of digital companies. This means traditional software companies, which can break new ground through new approaches.
