The EU Commission's regulatory initiative in the fight against terrorist content on the Internet is inexplicable – especially given the significant progress made by platform providers in a short space of time in the fight against illegal content.

On 12th September, the European Parliament will once again vote on the amendment to copyright law. Speaking on this subject, Oliver Süme, Chair of the eco Internet Association, states: "Copyright is a highly valuable asset, but it must not become a pretext for slowing down digital innovation."
