Founder and former CEO Harald A. Summa was appointed Honorary President of the eco Association – Association of the Internet Industry on 29 August 2023 during the eco Annual General Meeting in Cologne.
Harald A. Summa retired from eco’s operational management at the end of July 2023. Since its foundation in 1995, Summa had significantly shaped the Association and developed it into what it is today: the leading association of the Internet Industry in Germany and Europe. “We thank Harald Summa for his decades of outstanding service as founder and CEO of eco, as well as for the close and trusting working relationship. We are very pleased that his expertise as well as his market competence and excellent networks will remain with us for the association in the future,” says eco Chair Oliver SĂĽme.
Board reelected
Oliver SĂĽme remains Chair of the Board of eco – Association of the Internet Industry. He was unanimously confirmed in office at the eco Annual General Meeting on 29 August 2023, as were the other Board members Klaus Landefeld, Felix Höger and Prof. Norbert Pohlmann.
