When the international cloud, hosting and internet industry meets again for Cloudfest at Europapark Rust from 21-23 March, the eco Association will be there on site.
On Tuesday, 21 March, from 15:00-15:45, Thomas Rickert, eco Director Names & Numbers and David Snead, co-founder of the i2Coalition and General Counsel cPanel / WebPros, will be hosting a roundtable discussion. In the CloudFest Academy Ballroom Berlin, they will explore with the numerous participants how web server and web hosting companies can use data protection to differentiate their cloud business. The visitors will learn how companies can competently answer challenging customer questions about data protection, distinguish themselves in the market and promote their own business.
Data protection is a competitive advantage for cloud providers
Data protection rules in the US and the EU are very different. Therefore, the talk builds on a two-part Trans-Atlantic Dialogue series on the future of the Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework. Also on site for eco will be eco Director International Lars Steffen, Peter Joniec, Head of Sponsoring and Member Recruiting, and Annette Schwartze, Sponsoring and Member Recruiting Manager. CloudFest is the world’s leading event for Internet infrastructures and connects the global cloud computing industry: Here, partnerships are formed and an intensive exchange of knowledge plus networking takes place.
