Two weeks prior to our schedule, we have finished building up DE-CIX Madrid. DE-CIX’s network engineers Andreas Laudwein and Johannes Moos successfully installed and booted the equipment. The exchange is now ready for networks to peer.
The first networks have already signed, and we look forward to the first traffic flowing over the platform. Almost 20 networks will be at the exchange from the start, a new record at DE-CIX.
As of today, 7 June 2016, three networks are live and 17 more are connecting.
First customer in Madrid: Anexia
The first customer who has signed for DE-CIX Madrid is Anexia.
