Applications have now closed for the eco://award 2019 – taking place this year for the 18th time, the eco Association, supported by an international jury of specialists, will be awarding future-oriented and innovative companies from the Internet industry with the the eco://award in seven categories on 21 November 2019.
The eco Association is delighted by the growing international interest in the award, with applications submitted from 8 different countries, including Austria, Belgium, Finland, Luxembourg, the United Kingdom and the United States alongside the association’s home country of Germany. Finalists in the categories ISP/Interconnection, Datacenter Infrastructure, Hosting, Security, Domains, Cloud, and Innovation will be announced in early November.
“The eco://award honors innovative companies that are contributing to the continued evolution of the Internet and digital services,” explains Andreas Weiss, Head of Digital Business Models at the eco Association, who is heading up the eco://award team. “We’re pleased to see the increasing international relevance of the awards, as demonstrated by the number of applications from throughout Europe, the UK, and the USA. This reflects the eco Association’s internationalization strategy and our work on engaging the membership collectively.”
The award is open to both members and non-members of the association – companies that have missed out on submitting an application this year can make sure to get their applications in for the 19th edition of the awards in eco’s 25th anniversary year in 2020.
