Broadgroup Business Lunch in Frankfurt
Frankfurt, 19 January 2016 â eco played host to it’s member Broadgroup for a business lunch at the DE-CIX MeetingCenter in Frankfurt.
Around 20 participants came to hear the presentations and network during the lunch. The subjects of the presentations were, firstly, the developments in the data center market in Europe, and secondly, preparations and offers for the Datacloud Europe event in Monaco on 8-9 June 2016.
After the welcome address by Roland Broch from the eco Association, Senior Consultant and Analyst Marion Howard-Healy gave an insightful presentation on the potential of the data center market in Europe, the global drivers of data growth, different service models, recent M&A activities and their impact, geographical areas as data center locations, and trends in the colocation market.
Following this, Gregory Gerot, Vice President at Broadgroup, gave an overview of the planning for Datacloud Europe in Monaco in June, including the varying possibilities for exhibition space and sponsorship packages.
Participants then enjoyed a warm buffet lunch and the chance to mingle and network with other members of the data center and telecom industry.
