From high-availability networks to modern security solutions: dacoso GmbH supports companies and public authorities in the DACH region in securing critical infrastructures. In this interview, Stefan Hofmann, the company’S Chief Sales Officer, provides insights into typical use cases and the interplay between employees and innovative technologies in their solution approaches. He also explains which technological trends are shaping the future of cybersecurity and what role collaboration within the eco Association plays in this.
What does dacoso do, and what requirements do your customers bring to you?
Our customers rely on us because they need reliability in the data centre, protection against cyber threats, as well as stable and scalable networks. With our solutions for maximum availability and uncompromising security, dacoso ensures that companies remain operational at all times.
Which industries or use cases benefit particularly from your network and cybersecurity solutions, and what requirements typically characterise these projects?
With regard to our connectivity offering, all customers who operate their own data centre and aim for the highest levels of availability and security benefit from our services. We meet these high demands through 24/7 monitoring in our Network Operations Centre (NOC). In the event of an outage, over 100 dacoso technicians are on site within two hours across the entire DACH region to rectify the issue. Our primary cyber security customers include upper mid-market companies seeking holistic, integrated security solutions from a German-speaking Security Operations Centre (SOC). Our customers benefit from tailored solutions and direct contact with our SOC experts, who are thoroughly familiar with each infrastructure. Without tiered support levels with lengthy contract terms, our customers receive rapid and direct assistance from highly qualified security analysts. In cybersecurity, time equals security. Rapid response times and high-quality support are crucial here.
How does dacoso respond to the growing demands of cybersecurity and connected infrastructures – and what innovative solutions have you already implemented?
We are fast, solution-oriented and offer maximum protection for all data and identities across the entire network – from laptops through networks all the way to data centres and cloud environments. In doing so, we rely on market-leading vendors that utilise innovative AI technologies. We complement the use of these tools with the expertise of our employees, who know customer networks down to the smallest detail. This enduring combination enables proactive threat hunting and prevents damage and outages before they occur.
Which digital policy development or technological trend will particularly impact your industry in the coming years?
The increasing regulation in the field of cybersecurity – for example, through the NIS-2 and DORA directives – as well as the trend towards quantum-secure encryption and AI-supported threat detection will shape the industry.
How can membership in the eco Association help you address current challenges?
The eco Association offers a unique platform for exchanging ideas with customers and providers, with the aim of identifying trends at an early stage and jointly developing and advancing existing solutions and standards for the market. Together with the eco Association – directly opposite at the booth – we will be present at the Tech Show Frankfurt 2026, presenting our solutions live on site. This offers interested parties a unique opportunity to experience data centre technology not just on slides, but in practical use. We look forward to personal discussions on network performance and security.
