From March 2 to March 5, 2026, the who's who of the tech world will meet again in Barcelona. With more than 101,000 visitors and 2,700 exhibitors annually, the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona is one of the largest and most important trade fairs in Europe. In recent years, MWC has developed into the leading trade fair in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) and covers topics such as Industry 4.0, mobility, cybersecurity, AI, healthcare, smart cities, energy, and much more. In addition to the trade fair, a high-caliber conference program is offered, bringing together today's visionaries.
In 2026, NRW.Global Business will once again organize the NRW joint stand at MWC 2026 with the support of Messe DĂĽsseldorf. The state of North Rhine-Westphalia has been participating in MWC Barcelona for more than 10 years, offering companies from NRW the opportunity to present their technologies and products to an international audience of experts under the strong umbrella of the state.
The eco team will also be on site and will be represented at the NRW joint stand by Hauke Timmermann, Head of Digital Business Models and State Representative for NRW, who will also participate in a panel organized by GSMA:
International companies and innovation stakeholders will have the opportunity to connect with Canadian companies during MWC 2026. The matchmaking platform provides access to potential customers and partners, enables the presentation of solutions, and supports the development of new business relationships.
In addition, a booth tour will be offered, allowing companies to meet Canadian exhibitors. Interested companies will have the opportunity to join the tour shortly before the exhibition and explore the booth. This offer is open to all international participants, including German companies (Hall 7, Booth 7H45).

Guided Tour at the Huawei Booth (Hall 1, Booth 1H100)On Wednesday, March 04, 2026, from 12:00 to 14:00, we warmly invite you to an exclusive guided tour in the closed area of the Huawei exhibition booth. Following the tour, we offer you the opportunity to continue discussions and make new connections during a networking lunch in the Food Garden.
The trend toward the convergence of networks, cloud technologies, and increasingly artificial intelligence continues. As a result, products and solutions are becoming more digital and intelligent than ever, enabling a wide range of new business models and scalable industrial applications. At the same time, it is essential to further develop the underlying digital infrastructure in a future-oriented way.
During the tour, we will take a joint look at innovative solutions designed to smartly address future challenges. After the tour, you will have the opportunity to explore the Huawei booth independently.
