With the "Expert Lunch on Protection of Minors in the Media", the eco Complaints Office provides an open forum for eco members that are active in this field in order to exchange experiences, to gain exclusive insights, and to offer networking opportunities.
In addition to the application of the Interstate Treaty on the Protection of Minors in the Media (German: Jugendmedienschutz-Staatsvertrag or JMStV) and the corresponding German Criminal Code (German: Strafgesetzbuch or StGB), the focus is on teaching and promoting media competence and "di-gital trends". Moreover, information is to be provided on current political events and debates on the subject of protection of minors in the media, and on the activities of eco Complaints Office.
