Our goal
The aim of the Data Centre Roadshow is to explore current and exciting trends in a relaxed atmosphere, to spark lively discussion, to forge new contacts and, in doing so, to further advance the debate on the Internet and infrastructure. Interesting figures from the worlds of politics, business and research enrich the event, as do representatives from the press.
Key focus areas
Key topics may include the current debate on issues such as energy efficiency and sustainability, as well as state-of-the-art technologies within the DC sector.
The specific topic for each event is determined in close consultation with the relevant partners and the moderator of the panel discussion.
The target audience
Cloud decision-makers and IT experts from SMEs, IT project managers, and heads of specialist departments in companies and public authorities who deal with cloud and DC strategies.
A special highlight: Before the official programme begins, we offer an exclusive guided tour of the data centre in Hannover.
After-Work in entspannter Atmosphäre mit hochkarätigen Branchen-Experten
As part of our Data Center Roadshow, leading industry figures come together to discuss how data centres can act as enablers of innovation and energy efficiency, and what contribution they can make to strengthening a sovereign cloud. The focus will be on current energy-related issues – in particular the availability of energy in a dynamic growth region such as Bavaria.
A special highlight: before the official programme begins, we are offering a shuttle/bus tour to the Portus Data Centre Munich in Kirchheim. The state-of-the-art, carrier-neutral data centre is setting new standards with innovative cooling systems, high energy efficiency and an international focus, and offers exclusive insights into the future of digital infrastructure.
Look forward to a forward-looking keynote showing how modern technologies – from liquid cooling to hybrid solutions – are driving energy efficiency in data centres. You will also learn how IT outsourcing and edge colocation support digital transformation and help companies remain resilient and future-proof.
This will be followed by an inspiring panel discussion exploring the opportunities and challenges of digital infrastructure in the Bavarian context: How can companies reduce costs, achieve their sustainability targets and make their systems even more robust through geo-redundancy across different locations?
Round off the evening with exclusive networking in a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy finger food and drinks, make new contacts and exchange ideas with fellow industry professionals.
