The event will present the findings of a new study conducted by IW Consult on behalf of eco with the support of AWS. Based on a survey of 500 companies, around 80 AI start-ups, and an analysis of 55 million online job advertisements, the study explores how German companies are combining AI foundation models with industrial expertise and proprietary data to drive innovation, competitiveness, and economic growth.

The presentation will be followed by an interactive roundtable discussion with representatives from industry, policymakers, and the Brussels stakeholder community, focusing on the implications of the findings for Europe's industrial and digital policy agenda.
