Mr. Schröder, please describe what i-doit does and what is most important for your customers.
i-doit brings order to the often complex world of IT. It helps companies understand their entire IT landscape – not as individual pieces of a puzzle, but as an interconnected whole.
Many of our customers come to us because they want to not only document their IT, but really understand it. They want to know how everything is connected – from the server room to the help desk. With i-doit, they make their IT visible, traceable and manageable. Whether in the cloud or locally – our solution adapts to them, not the other way around.
What distinguishes i-doit from other existing solutions?
i-doit is not a rigid piece of software, but a living platform that grows and evolves. What makes us special is the openness of our system: together with our partners, we are continuosly developing enhancements that create real added value. And because we know how important it is to have an up-to-date picture of IT, we offer modern solutions for all aspects of IT discovery – enabling a seamless combination of automatic detection and precise documentation. This makes i-doit a tool that not only collects data, but also reveals connections.
What challenges do you currently see in your business environment and how are you addressing them?
Many companies today are under increasing pressure. Security requirements are becoming stricter, and standards such as ISO 27001, DORA and NIS2 are no longer optional, but mandatory. At the same time, there is often a lack of time and skilled personnel. This is exactly where i-doit comes in. Our solution brings structure to IT, supports compliance with standards and makes complexity manageable. It’s important to us that we not only provide a tool, but real support – for the people who are responsible and work with IT every day.
What opportunities does digitalisation offer?
