Terms and conditions 

Participation in the ‘Tickets for #MWC24’ prize draw, run by eco – Association of the Internet Industry and hereinafter referred to as the organiser, is free of charge and subject to these terms and conditions. Prize draw procedure: The prize draw will run until 2 February 2024, during which time users will be able to enter online. Participation: In order to enter into the prize draw, it is necessary to complete and submit the entry form displayed. Entries will only be accepted during the entry period. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered in the prize draw. Only one submitted entry per entrant will be entered into the prize draw. The prize draw is free of charge. The prize draw is open to residents of Germany aged 18 or over. Participation is not restricted to members of the organiser and is not dependent on the purchase of goods or services. If a participant is of limited legal capacity, the consent of their legal representative is required. Persons involved in the design and implementation of the prize draw, employees of the organiser and members of their families are not eligible to enter the prize draw. In addition, the organiser reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any person for any reason, including, without limitation, (a) tampering with the entry process or the operation of the prize draw, (b) breaches of these terms and conditions, (c) unfair play, or (d) providing false or misleading information with regard to the entry process. The following prizes will be awarded: Prize 1: One ticket to MWC24, Prize 2: One ticket to MWC24. Winners will be determined by a random draw from all entrants after the closing date. Winners will be notified of their prize by separate email by 5 February. The prize will only be handed over to the winner or their legal representative. The prize cannot be exchanged, collected or paid in cash. The cost of sending the prize will be borne by the organiser. Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize shall be borne by the winner. Any taxation on the prize is the responsibility of the winner. If the winner does not respond to two reminders within one week, the prize may be transferred to another entrant. The organiser expressly reserves the right to terminate the prize draw without notice and without giving any reason. This applies in particular to any reason that would disrupt or prevent the prize draw from running as planned. Participation in the prize draw requires the provision of personal data. The participant warrants that the personal data provided by them, in particular first name(s), family name(s) and email address, are true and correct. The organiser declares that the personal data provided by the entrant will not be passed on or made available to third parties without the entrant’s consent. In the event of winning, the winner agrees to the publication of their name and place of residence in the promotional material used by the organiser. This includes the announcement of the winner on the organiser’s website and social media platforms. The entrant may withdraw their consent at any time. The withdrawal must be sent in writing to membership@eco.de. Once consent has been withdrawn, the personal data collected and stored will be deleted immediately. Questions or complaints regarding the prize draw should be addressed to the organiser. The organiser’s prize draw is subject exclusively to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded. Should any provision of these terms and conditions be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these terms and conditions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a legally permissible provision that comes as close as possible to the economic intent and purpose of the invalid provision. The same applies in the event of a loophole in these conditions of participation.
