Data sharing under the DSA: On 10.10.2023, the Weizenbaum Institute published a study on how the sharing of data under the DSA could be possible. You can read the study here.
“Fair Share” – Results of the consultation are available: In spring, the EU Commission gave companies and associations twelve weeks to present their positions on the topic of “Fair Share” via a consultation. The results of the consultation were presented on 10.10.2023 and can be read here.
Energy: On Monday 9 October, the Council adopted the Renewable Energy Directive (RED III). According to the Directive, by 2030, 42.5% of energy consumption in the EU must be covered by renewable energies, with an additional 2.5% indicative top up to allow the target of 45% to be achieved. In addition, sector-specific targets have been established.
