eco Survey Shows: Major Concerns in German Companies about Quantum Technology

Quantum technology is in the process of making fundamental changes to traditional computing and offers opportunities that redefine our idea of efficiency and security. eco Survey: Every Second German Secures Data Twice on the Internet

In order to protect their data online, every second German uses at least one additional security measure beyond passwords. According to a Civey survey conducted on behalf of eco for the “World More Than a Password Day”, 49.2 per cent of German citizens use two-factor authentication. Prof. Norbert Pohlmann, Board Member for IT Security at eco Association, comments: “Protecting our identity and personal data should be a top priority for all Internet users.”

eco Association Survey One Year Before the German Federal Election: 86 Per Cent of Germans Are Dissatisfied with the Federal Government’s Digital Policy

With just one year to go before the 2025 federal election, there is growing dissatisfaction in Germany with the digital policy of the German traffic light coalition government. After around three years of the coalition government, 86.2 per cent of respondents believe that the federal government is not advancing digital transformation sufficiently.
