The next WHD.global 2017 from 25 to 31 March 2017 in Europa-Park Rust will be supported by eco – Association of the Internet Industry e.V. with numerous new events. The WorldHostingDays (WHD) and eco have thus taken their longstanding cooperation to a new level. The association will encourage interaction between politics and the industry in a high-ranking panel discussion on the topic of network policy, and in the planned Meet & Greet with political representatives on location at their own booth. eco Will also expand the breadth of content for the approx. 6,000 participants in WHD.global 2017 with a one-day “conference within the conference” on domains.

Special conditions for eco members

WHD.global is the largest hosting and cloud service event in the world. It takes place over a whole week every year in Europapark, in Rust. eco has been supporting WHD.global from the very beginning. Experts give presentations on specialist topics and moderate events. The fact that the association has now also been given a seat on the Content Advisory Board of the WorldHostingDays highlights this long cooperation and is the foundation for an even closer collaboration.

The WorldHostingDays have been running since 2003 and originally concentrated on the hosting industry. Over the years, the event has covered an increasingly broad spectrum of topics, as the hosting industry opened itself to a broader spectrum of technologies. With its unique program and special atmosphere, WHD.global is the most important event for cloud services and Internet infrastructure. It offers visitors more than 120 presentations. 200 exhibitors provide information on the leading digital innovations. The diverse range of topics span the entire bandwidth of digital technologies and culture.

WHD.global is a week-long festival that celebrates online creativity and digital technology.
