The "Data Centre - Using AI & still being sustainable" working group of the eco Association's "AI in Practice" initiative is looking forward to your contribution at the next meeting.

In our working group, we are intensively discussing how intelligent solutions can be developed to reduce the computing power of AI applications without losing sight of sustainability.

Initial statements/critical aspects:

• How quickly are smart solutions developing to reduce the computing power of AI applications?
• When the run on AI applications comes, waste heat utilisation and power supply are critical aspects in the data centre
• Another critical aspect is the so-called vendor lock-in with GPU providers (lack of alternatives and competitors to NVIDIA in the market)

Smart solutions also result from individual use cases/customer scenarios along the necessary latencies.
